Bose Sound System Manual 3 Game-Changing Subwoofer Innovations. One of these groundbreaking innovations would’ve been enough to make the PB16-Ultra an engineering tour-de-force, but the combination of 3 subwoofer firsts propels the SVS PB16-Ultra into the pantheon of all-time great audio products. Massive New 16-inch SVS Ultra Driver with Unprecedented 8-inch Edge Wound Voice Coil.https://fedmadtm.com/fmtm2009/cronicas/file/bosch-logixx-1400-manual.xml

When designing the biggest and most formidable driver ever used in an SVS subwoofer, it was of utmost importance to meet or exceed the same supreme standards of control and accuracy as every other subwoofer SVS manufactures. One huge advancement that allows the PB16-Ultra to handle the crushing force of a 16-inch driver is the 8-inch edge wound voice coil, the largest ever deployed in a consumer subwoofer. Bose Subwoofers For Sale This innovation ensures ultra-low distortion and pinpoint control at the highest drive levels resulting in incredible output and low frequency extension. By nature, larger drivers are more difficult to control, but the unprecedented voice coil design ensures accuracy in frequency response and speed in transients without ever sounding boomy. Pushing the driver are four massive, dedicated toroidal ferrite magnets that unleash a staggering 95mm peak to peak excursion and the highest levels of motor force and palpable SPLs. The light and rigid 16-inch Ultra driver cone consists of a premium fiberglass resin composite with optimal stiffness to mass ratio to maximize movement of air and sonic energy without ever distorting or losing control. Discrete MOSFET output unbridles the nearly limitless power in the Sledge amplifier and pushes the 16-inch driver to extreme levels of performance. They also represent an upgrade over the less robust integrated circuit output stages found in nearly all other Class D subwoofer amplifiers. Effortless power must be harnessed to ensure refined behavior and pristine output at the most demanding drive levels. To achieve this, the PB16-Ultra subwoofer uses the audio industry’s most advanced 50 MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP with 56bit filtering to handle the nearly limitless power, only unleashing the perfect amount of low frequency energy at just the right time. Innovative New Smartphone App for Subwoofer DSP and Control.http://www.location-chalet-jura.eu/img/bosch-logixx-7-manual-pdf.xml

The groundbreaking SVS subwoofer app controls all DSP functions and conveniently stores custom presets. It’s the easiest way ever to fine tune bass surpassing 16Hz at reference volumes from the comfort of your favorite seat. For added convenience, 2-way feedback shows updates in real time on both the app and subwoofer interface and Bluetooth connectivity allows adjustments to be made even when the subwoofer is not in sight. Control is also available via IR remote and an intuitive front panel display. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google Inc. Acoustically Inert, Rigidly Braced Cabinet A subwoofer capable of creating such extreme levels of sonic energy requires a formidable cabinet design. The PB16-Ultra is built with a double thick MDF front baffle and rigid internal bracing to support the massive drive unit and to ensure an acoustically inert environment. The highly reinforced internal design eliminates any chance of coloration or resonance from the cabinet, even when the deepest low frequencies are played at reference sound pressure levels. 8” diameter, high-power edge wound voice coil. 95mm peak to peak Xmech excursion (82mm Xmax). Upgraded Nomex spider for improved linearity and driver control at extreme drive levels. Dual 24-strand copper and Nomex composite high-temperature leads provide a pristine electrical connection from the amplifier to the voice coil. Premium glass fiber laminated dustcap and reinforced composite cone sub-structure ensure a light, ridged, and neutral radiating surface. Low-creep rubber long-throw surround for excellent durability and longevity. Groundbreaking Subwoofer Control and Bass Management Smartphone App for Apple and Android Devices. IR Remote Control. Three user adjustable parametric EQs. Continuously variable (0-180 degrees) phase control. Main power rocker switch. RoHS compliant, lead-free construction and world-wide safety certifications. Detachable power cord.

'This sub is insanely good and two of them. And taking the subs beyond reference levels isn’t a problem (I was never able to reach a breaking point). The crossover from subwoofers to speakers was undetectable, blending with a seamless grace that truly picky enthusiasts would appreciate. Super clean bass that thunders with precision.' Bose in general is a very shady company that preys upon the ignorance of the general population. I've used this subwoofer numerous times in an acoustically treated warehouse, for all different types of music from alternative rock, to classical orchestra and it is definitely sub par. This sub also has very low sensitivity, 90db when you want high sensitivity typically 99db. Even when properly powered its inefficient. The sonic performance is floppy, weak and dispersion of low frequencies is very poor. Don't become another victim of the Bose hoax, stay away from this sub. It's expensive, but it was well worth the money. I'm only 15 years old and because of this sub, I got alot of gigs through my school because I was the first DJ there to use any sub, the kids liked it because it will rattle the floor, and I like it because it's easy to move. The only drawback is that it's expensive, and it's a power hungry beast. Normally, people won't push this to it's limit because it's so loud, but I do, I'll push the max amount of power, and sometimes a little more because of the head room on my amp, and this just keeps on pounding away. But sometimes it will suck so much power that the lights will dim down because I'm sucking over 1000 watts - overall, this is a great sub. Would you like to try it too? Please try again later. Have had a google and cannot find anything interesting and Bose don't seem to be any use!! Been trying to get them to sound, well good to my ears, and think its time this information was called upon to assist!

PoppadomFortunately, those nice people at Crown Amplifiers used to make some plug in modules that dealt with various equalisation and processing functions. They made one that duplicated the Bose 802c controller, which apparently is also suitable for driving a 302. Anyway, have a look at the eq curves in this pdf, and see if it helps. Regards, SimonCheers All Dom By the way if anyone else wants the results PM me. Take out the electronics and wire on speakons at the same time. Straight replacement will be Eminence delta12lf. I've tried them all myself years and years ago except the beyma, but have heard it in a 302. Delta 12s are shit. The 12LX60 ones work well, but those ATC drivers were awesome. All 4 cabs in this venue were 're glued, pinned and reinforced. Speakons fitted of course. I am running them on some old ASHLY FET 500's, was going to bridge each amp into each 302. Thank you all for your reply's and help The UK sales manager threatened to sue me. Twats. There is a huge difference. Delta 12s are shit. They belonged to the venue. I just happened to be there repairing the crappy Bose car speakers. No recone kits available from Bose. New drivers were stupid money.

ATC PA75-314BLCR were not only better, but not much more money and a recone kit then was about 30 quid to us. ATC are about 5 miles from here. Bose UK had their sales idiots and some US guys visiting some installations of their sound systems. They commented on how awesome the low end was as I was in there fixing and running it. Yes they got told to jog on and then some after their stupid show off bullshit. The following year some scaled down Bose Cannons were on the Lightfactor stand at Plasa wired up working as a piss take. It caused a real uproar again:). I now have a second pair and was thinking about the positioning, If you you stand them next to each other they tend to cancel out due to the porting, we used to put one upside down and the result was great but they looked stupid. Was thinking of reversing teh polarity on one pair and seeing how it sounds, any thoughts. Thanks Carl. I have always liked the look of the 302's and considered building a pair. (Found some plans on line and this thread helps). But this thread also makes me think there are much better options today. What bass speaker would you advice (DIY or off the shelve) to run with Bose 802's. Does not need to be huge bass, almost all our events are weddings and in facilities where too much low end could be a problem (multi use venues). Feb 3, 2011. The problem with this sort of deign occurs when balancing the stiffness of the cone and the other design factors that fight each other to get bass and treble off the same driver, so the EQ unit was invented to compensate. So yes, it adds bass and treble, but it is an essential part of the speaker design, else the frequency response will be anything but flat. As long as you don't clip the amps, a 1kw amp driving a couple of stacked pair of bose 802 can sound remarkably good against the current opposition, especially so when you are comparing a basically 1960's design with the latest. The latest digital controllers not only have presets for practically every bose speaker, they are also a lot quieter and more accurate an eq curve, and also include some important additional processing such as limiting. Hope this helps to give a broader picture that is relatively unbiased!! YMMV. disclaimer. I worked as the system design engineer for Bose for a couple of years about 20 years ago.I have sort of inherited one for our church PA system and need to understand what it does and whether I actually need it or not? With a Klippel-optimized magnet system and ventilated high-performance voice coil it is capable of generating a solid and voluminous, yet extremely precise deep bass range. To ensure no resonance or flow noise is produced, despite the huge movement of air that is created, the sturdy MDF housing has been equipped with elaborate bracing and two generously dimensioned Airflex ports. Volume, crossover frequency and phase can naturally be adjusted, while the active frequency response equalization system optimizes levels in the sub-bass range. The Tempus Sub 300A also features an automatic standby function with a power consumption of less than 0.5 watts.By using our services, you consent for cookies to be used. Which Fishbone Diagram is Used For Which of the Following Situations?Considering that the fishbone diagram is used for the purpose of earning a diagram, it won't just be employed to help pupils learn and understand a specified subject matter, but it is going to also be utilised in the case that a student is interested in testing their understanding. This is why there are different ways in which a student can get an idea of a specific subject. This may be in the form of a diagram or a visual aid, but one thing that everybody will find is they may use the fishbone diagram to help them find the answer. Here are some of the ways the fishbone diagram can be used for that of these situations. The diagram is used in conjunction with text. One example is when a student is writing a paper and is unsure of exactly what the answer ought to be to a certain question. This may be used to ascertain exactly what the answer is as a visual aid rather than simply guessing.

Additionally, if a student is studying a novel and feels confused and uncertain of what they need to do, they may use the diagram to help them consider the answers. This is due to the fact that the diagram will allow them to see exactly what they should write on the bottom line when they sort the response on the top line. This will not only make them think about the answers, but may also provide them with insight into how they ought to write the answer down. The fishbone diagram is used to determine what happens at a circumstance. In cases like this, the fishbone diagram is used to help the student consider what they will need to do when in a certain circumstance. For instance, when a student has problems finishing homework they may use the diagram to ascertain whether they should keep trying or stop trying.
